Hanoze Mistry, Founder and Principal Architect of HMD Architects is a graduate from Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi Institute for Architecture, Mumbai. He had completed his internship from Talati & Panthaky Associates and following that was employed at Kapadia Associates, where he was a part of the core team, which conceptualized and executed Crossroads, India’s first mall. Working in the core team exposed him to a lot of international architects and consultants. In 2001, Hanoze Mistry established HMD Architects. Till date HMD Architects has successfully commissioned more than 350 projects, which amounts to more than 5 million sft. of work across the entire spectrum of projects typologies and geographical boundaries.
In the resent-past, Hanoze Mistry has been able to engrave a niche for HMD Architects as a design authority over K-12 schools consultancy ranging from greenfield campus development to expansions and refurbishments. Most of the desirable chains of schools in India are associated with HMD Architects.
